Happy Friday!
We are most happy that the Lyme voters approved our school's 2022-23 operating budget last night. The Lyme School is fortunate to have the continued support of the town for the teaching and learning that takes place in our great school.
Some other news:
- The middle school drama elective finishes up their performances of Mary Poppins tonight with a show for just the families of the actors in the play. A lot of time and hard work was put into this lively performance for sure. Appreciation goes to Thomas Chapin for leading the cast. (See the cast pictured above. )
- Reminder: No School for students on Tuesday, March 8. It is a teacher inservice day. Teachers will be working on report cards, analyzing our K-8 writing samples, discussing research and inquiry in our curriculum, interviewing principal candidates, and more.
- Please sign up for parent teacher conferences. You should have a sign up link in your email from your teacher (K-5) or from me (6-8). Conferences will be held March 14-18.
- Reminder: Early release will be at 1:30 pm on March 14, 15, 16, and 18. Thursday, March 17 is a 2:00 dismissal day.
