Substitute 2nd Grade Teacher

Lyme School is looking for a short term substitute teacher in the second grade (23 days) starting May 18th. Candidates need to be comfortable working with second grade students. Duties include instructing in our second grade class and other supervisory duties as assigned. Experience with grades K-3 and NH Elementary Certification 1810 or 1811 preferred but not required. The substitute will overlap with the teacher for a week before taking over the class for the remainder of the school year.

Pay can be negotiable depending on certifications and experience.

Spanish Teacher

Lyme School seeks a full time Spanish teacher. Ideally to teach middle school Spanish to 6th through 8th graders but a possibility to teach K-5 grades.

Students begin Spanish at our school in Kindergarten with daily Spanish lessons. Daily Spanish continues and expands as students move through the grades. The two Spanish teachers collaborate with our Academic Director to oversee our K-8 Spanish curriculum and implementation of our common assessments. We are a school that uses Acquisition-Driven Instruction, utlizing Comprehensible Input and proficiency-based assessments.

This position starts for the 2026-2027 school year. NH teaching credential 0619 preferred.
