LYME SCHOOL

This week, we have been enjoying acting out the story, It's Mine by Leo Lionni. The children have been doing an amazing job of retelling Lionni's fable of three quarrelsome frogs and one wise toad who helped them realize that the world belongs to everyone and one "person" (or frog!) doesn't own the air or water or earth themselves.  The frogs found that it is much more enjoyable and peaceful to share and be a member of a community.  This has been what we are working very hard to do every day in Kindergarten, and we will, of course, continue to work hard  in the sharing and caring area all year long!
