This past week the 4th Grade presented their persuasive essays to the 3rd Grade to "persuade" them to come their state. For the past several weeks each 4th Grader researched their individual state to gather information to "convince" an audience of 3rd Graders to visit.
A five paragraph persuasive essay was drafted, props and costumes were gathered, and after watching themselves on video, each 4th Grader was ready to make their "public pitch". From Alaska to Vermont 18 states were represented and each student did an outstanding job presenting their efforts.
