State Education Agency Relations

It is the policy of this Board to act as contacting agent for federal, state, or other appropriate educational projects at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools subject to the following conditions:

1. The project is of significant educational value to justify support by the School Administrative Unit (SAU).

2. The project specifically provides for participation of or benefit to residents of the SAU.

3. The project proposal designates adequate funds to reimburse the SAU for any direct administrative costs incurred in connection with the project.

4. The project proposal and subsequent reports give appropriate credit to the SAU for its assistance.

The Superintendent is authorized to enter into agreements subject to the above conditions in the name of the SAU 22 Board and shall submit a copy of each project at the next scheduled meeting of the Board.
