Individualizing Programs For Uniquely Advanced and/or Talented
The School Board is committed to encouraging the individualization
of instructional programs to meet the diverse capabilities
and talents of its students.
Recognizing that some students have extraordinary learning
ability, artistic talent, and/or goal achievement motivation
in areas of personal interest, which may require specific
accommodations, the Board encourages creative accommodations
to meet such unique education needs.
The Board does require that any accommodation that requires
funding or has a budget impact come before the School Board.
A formal process involving parent, staff, and administration
will review unique curricular adjustments needed or requested.
