Service Personnel Recruitment and Hiring
All openings for service personnel directly employed by the
Lyme School District will be recruited through the SAU office
and will be posted in the Lyme Schools and elsewhere as deemed
appropriate. All service personnel positions will be advertised
unless a similar position has been recently advertised.
Interviewing and selection of service personnel positions
will be the responsibility of the principal, in conjunction
with central office administrators as necessary, e.g., contracted
or grant-funded personnel.
The School Board will officially appoint all service personnel
employees; administration will ensure that all service personnel
have a contract or some type of wage/hour/assignment clarification.
