The School Board recognizes the importance of health and wellness,
and supports the development and implementation of an employee
wellness program which has as its objectives 1) the encouragement
of healthy behaviors, 2) the awareness and attentiveness to
personal health risk factors, and 3) the promotion of wellness
modeling among faculty and students.
Wellness activities are intended to be voluntary and compatible
with negotiated agreements. Such activities may include but
are not limited to health risk assessment, education/information,
fitness activities or information, and referral information.
The School Board endorses administrative discretion in the
imple¬mentation of wellness programs from year to year.
