Lyme School Board

• Meet to review the preliminary district budget with district administrators prior to the presentation of the proposed budget to the Board.
• Insure that the Board meets with the Town Budget Committee at the end of the fiscal year and prior to budget preparation.

POLICY:

• Meet with the administration and/or others, as needed or required, to review and update policy.
• Work with the administration to insure that policies are appropriately disseminated.
• Work with district administration to insure that policy books are placed in the school and in the town library and that these policy books are current.

FACILITIES:

• Meet with the administration and/or others, as needed or required, to ensure that facilities comply with applicable safety requirements.
• Develop short and long-range plans for facilities maintenance, replacement and additions, as necessary, and work with Finance Committee to incorporate plans into school budgets.
