School Board Elections
The School Board shall consist of an odd number (3, 5, 7 or
9) members elected by the qualified voters of the District at
the annual District elections held in March. At present, the
Lyme School Board is comprised of seven (7) members. The number
of members may be changed by majority vote at any annual district
meeting, though the change will not take effect until the next
school district election in the year following the annual meeting.
The term of office of each member of the School Board shall
be for a period of three (3) years.
