The 2018-19 school year marks my 16th year of teaching. I’m looking forward to another year of building upon new ideas, fostering curiosity, modeling creative problem-solving, building confidence, encouraging perseverance, and inspiring the discovery of math in the world around us.
I'm excited to return to the Lyme School community after a year teaching abroad in Sweden. My experiences in Sweden reaffirmed my core teaching beliefs: students are able to persevere through rigorous challenges and ultimately flourish in a safe learning environment, our classroom community is built upon the kindness and support we demonstrate toward each other, and it's a place to have fun while appreciating the value of hard work.
My passions outside of school include travel and a variety of outdoor activities. I spend my free time running, hiking, skiing, and planning trips around the globe.
