The goal of the Lyme PTO is to encourage parents and community
members to become active participants in the school, foster
communication between parents and teachers, and enhance the
children's education. In this way we will make Lyme Elementary
School a wonderful place for our children to learn.
The four areas of focus
for the PTO are to support the staff, facilities and school,
organize school and community events, sponsor activities for
the students, and participate in fund raising.2006-2007
2006-2007
The Lyme PTO has been organized
and active since January 2002. The 2006-2007 school year officers
are Kate Cook, president, Sallie Yurkosky, vice president, Sue
Hanlon, treasurer, Audrey Brown & Cindy Valance, co-secretaries.
Family membership annual dues are $5.00. Dues, fundraisers,
and volunteers support all our programs, especially the artist
in residence event. This year, meetings will be alternate between
afternoon and evening times, starting with September 19th 6:30pm.
